Fudge just doesn’t get easier than this! I was always sceptical about making fudge until my aunt introduced me to her recipe for making it in the microwave oven – perfection every single time! Just try not make it too often. 😉
Microwave Oven Chocolate Fudge

1 tin condensed milk
2 cups sugar
125g butter
60ml cocoa
5ml vanilla essence
5ml vinegar
Method
- Combine all the ingredients except for the vanilla essence and vinegar in a large glass jug.
- Cook on high for 2 minutes and stir.
- Cook for a further 9 minutes on high stirring often.
- Add the vanilla essence and vinegar and mix through.
- Flatten the mixture into a greased baking tray.
- Once cool cut into squares.

This one sounds too delicious!! My only fortune is that I son’t have a microwave oven, otherwise I’d be too tempted… 😛
Oh what a pity – it would be worth having a microwave oven just for this recipe 😉
It is hard to believe that you are able to make fudge in the microwave. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Great post.
Thanks for stopping by Tastiwave. I will be posting a few more fun microwave recipes this next week. 😉
Thanks for showing how to create fudge. By stirring it every few minutes, the fudge’s consistency would be even when cooking this in a microwave. Good post.
I love fudge!! unfortunately I don’t own a microwave….the recipe does sound easy!
Oh no, Chef Dennis, I wish I could send you a microwave, just so you can make this fudge!
Yum! I had no idea you could make candy in the microwave oven.
It is so much easier, quicker and much more forgiving. 😀
Cocoa? Chocolate or cocoa powder?
Hi Katie, it’s cocoa powder. Have a super day. 🙂
