Now I feel like a roast 🙂
I have just ordered a topside roast from the butcher – 😀
Do you suggest using fan bake method? I know it is faster than normal baking but they said it dries the meat out.
I always use a fan assist when I roast my meats and haven’t had a problem before with the meat drying out – if you are worried about this, try covering your meat with tinfoil for the first half of the cooking. 🙂
I really do love your site Mandy, it is packed with useful information. This is a really good post.
Kath, thank you for such a wonderful compliment – you have made my day! 😀 Part two of the Roasting Times will be posted tomorrow.
I love that you put everything so clearly. I never really think about timing this much before. Can’t wait for part 2 🙂
Thanks Tes, I am so pleased that you are enjoying all the tips. I will be posting part 2 tomorrow morning. 🙂
Great little reference tips Mandy 🙂
Thanks Anna. 🙂 Part 2 coming tomorrow.
this reminds me of my aunt who does not cook! she has to refer to a recipe book on the roasting time for a chicken 🙂
It’s actually amazing how many people are baffled when it comes to roasting. 😉
