Family Tree

Please forgive my lack on commenting on all your blogs .

I have been engrossed the few days putting my family tree

together which is all very exciting but extremely time consuming.

I will be back to normal sometime next week.

Happy cooking and baking. πŸ™‚ xo

    • Hi Caroline. Currently I have put 6 generations together with 58 families and that is only on my Dad’s side! I may have to take a breather after completing his side before I start on my Moms side – no, that’s probably not true, I know what I am like – I will have to do Moms now too! Thankfully I have a cousin who is going to investigate the oldest 2 generations for me for more detail which will help me a lot. Have a great weekend. πŸ™‚

  1. IΒ΄ve done this too on my mumΒ΄s side. ItΒ΄s fascinating, obsessive and hugely time consuming. I am now in regular contact with a lovely “cousin” in New Zealand and it brings me so much pleasure to exchange news with her. Good luck in your search, hope you find out lots of lovely things!

    • Thanks Tanya, well done on doing your mom’s side. I am busy with my dad’s side. I have found family I never knew I had and can’t wait to meet them all and have reconnected with family I haven’t spoken to since I was a child! Awesome stuff! I am nearly complete with the backbone and can’t wait to add the “meat” by making a few trips across the country. Wish I could do it all next week but alas that will have to wait. Not to mention I want to add my mom’s side too but think that will have to wait just a little bit – thankfully I have info to work from when I do start.
Have a super Sunday and I look forward to catching up with you soon again. πŸ™‚
