I’m thrilled that so many people took part in my getting to know each other 2 that I couldn’t resist putting another one together. Shorter this time around but still loads of fun. Thank you to Cindy, Stonemaiden Diaries, Yvette, Kim, Tandy, Tes, Natalie, Linda and Leftover Recipes for taking part in the fun with round 2! As with the previous two, I won’t be tagging anybody but it would be great if you would copy the questions and fill in your answers on your blog – it’s great fun. 🙂 Please link back to me so I don’t miss out on your answers.
1. Who would you be honoured to have cook in your kitchen?
2. What have you always wanted to cook or eat but never have?
Truffles – maybe James can bring them along when he comes to cook for me.
3. What is your favourite part of a chicken?
The oysters, although not very filling.
4. Do you use a knife or a vegetable peeler to peel potatoes?
A knife – doesn’t everyone?
5. What one item do you keep in the kitchen you know you shouldn’t use but do?
Aromat – I know, I know! How about if I justify that I only ever use it when scrambling eggs and occasionally on chicken wings.
6. Do you like using the new culinary foam with your meals?
Absolutely not – I won’t tell you what I think it looks like either – very off putting!
7. What 3 meals would you take to a friend who is sick in bed?
Cottage pie, chicken curry and probably lasagne.

I am over James for now – I think Gino is far hotter 🙂
Tell you what, he can come and cook too. 😉 Have a super day Tandy. 🙂
Wow, I wish I were sick. I think I’m going to request all three things from my wife the next time I am1
What a brilliant idea Greg, putting in your order. have a great day. 🙂
I use a vegetable peeler. To cook for me? How ’bout Rafael Nadal. I suspect he sizzles rather nicely – hee-hee… 🙂
Ooh nice idea, wonder what he would would cook up for you… Have a great day. 🙂
As to potatoes I have done both a knife and a peeler and overhwhelmingly prefer a peeler.
John
I usually use a vegetable peeler to slice cheese for on toast and to make ribbons of zucchini and carrots. Have a super day John. 🙂
I’m a peeler person all the way. And I haven’t seen these culinary foams. I’ll have to go check them out now. Have a good one Mandy!
There was a craze a short while ago on all of the cooking shows with finishing a meal off with the foam – looks really yucky! Have a super one too Kristy. 🙂
no..i use a peeler. 😉
FYI, If I were sick in bed, a mixed veggie dish would be something for me.
I might have just the dish for you coming up soon Angie. Have a great day. 🙂
I wanna be your friend when I’m sick, ha! Those would be some great meals to eat if I were feeling under the weather. Also, you’ve got to try truffles soon. So, so good. Love this idea…thanks for sharing, Mandy. xx
Just let me know when you are under the weather and I will bring along all your favourites Caroline. Have a happy day. 🙂
Like you, I send lasagne when friends are ill or recuperating. And I’m an oyster fan, too. It is my favorite thing about cooking Thanksgiving dinner: I get the turkey’s oysters! Foam doesn’t bother me, except that it has been over-played. Time for chefs to move on to some new gimmick. Have a great day!
I bet your lasagne is out of this world ChgoJohn. I wonder what the next gimmick will be – would be great if we could come up with something the world famous chef’s would want to use. *Puts thinking cap on*. Have a super day. 🙂
Very interesting and fun! Nice to know more about you. I don’t know what some of those things are but oh well! It was still a very nice post :). Haha I feel stupid right now
Thanks Tricia, glad you enjoyed the post. Have a super day. 🙂

Glad you have you back Paul. Have a super day. 🙂
I liked getting to know more about you! I hate foam. I agree that is not pretty and really doesn’t do anything for the enjoyment of eating.
Thanks Geni, glad I am not the only one who doesn’t like the whole foam thing. Have a super day. 🙂
I soooo enjoyed this!
Thanks Pink! Have a super day. 🙂
I think this is so much fun… I think I would love to have Emeril cook in my kitchen and I know you can guess why 🙂
I always enjoy putting these together Kay. 🙂
Haha Greg is funny – me too I wish I’m sick! I hope this series continue~~~! 😉
We could always start a blog family meals on wheels for when each other is sick. 🙂 Glad you enjoy the “getting to know you” posts Nami. 🙂
I have a friend who has a recurring dream that she is James Martin´s wife but that she has to do all the cooking. Rather worrying, maybe she needs therapy!
Haa haa, oh dear, your poor friend – why be married to James if you have to do all the cooking! 🙂
I missed this, Mandy, will post tomorrow 🙂
Look forward to your answers Cindy. Have a super Sunday. 🙂
