Hi Debbie, thank so much for joining in the fun – loved reading your answers and I would enjoy a picnic with you any day. Have a lovely weekend ahead. 🙂
Noticed that you too enjoy soya and tea :-))
Couldn’t live without either of them Angie. Have a super day. 🙂 xo
Lovely getting to know a bit more about you!
Thanks Tandy. Have a lovely afternoon. 🙂 xo
Fun! I will have to join in … I like the questions you’ve chosen. Surprising that you’ve never owned a slow cooker. I own one, but it is neglected at best, I think it’s because I prefer browned food more than soft, all mixed together food. 😉 Great idea here.
Fantastic Judy, I am so pleased you are going to join in the fun. I cannot wait to see your pots with your answers. have a super day. 🙂 xo

Thanks so much for joining in the fun again Cindy! I can’t wait to dash over to read your answers. 🙂 xo
What? No tripe? Now I have to re-plan my entire menu for your visit. The original was tripe-themed. Glad you started this exercise. I know better now than to serve tripe. I guess I’ll go with Plan B, rhubarb. Wait a minute …
Um, John, you see, um, well, I cannot come visit until after you have made tripe and rhubarb – tell you what I will eat the rhubarb with a smile on my face just so long as I don’t have to eat the tripe – now that is a great compromise, right? *breathes deep* 🙂 xo
You’ve called my bluff! I hate rhubarb more than you apparently, because I could never agree to eat any of it. You’re a savvy traveler, aren’t you?
Aah, I see, now the truth comes out hey… We shall have to discuss this matter further while making ravioli and risotto lessons. 😀 xo
FUN))) learning more about you, Mandy…..oh, except the tongue! OHHhh, does it taste you back?
Xxxxx LOVE.
Bwahahahaha – oh my the thought it putting me off eating tongue now. Have a beautiful weekend dear. Seems I will be snuggling under the covers this weekend with the cold weather. 🙂 xo
I just read Cin’s responses to these questions. Like you, I have never owned a pressure cooker or a slow cooker and I too, enjoy red wine! xx
Seems there are a lot more people who haven’t owned a pressure cooker or slow cooker than I realised. Maybe one day we can enjoy a glass of red together. Have a super weekend. 🙂 xo
I don’t think trip and rhubarb would make a nice pie. Lovely questions. Are there paper copies of your book Mandy so i can buy one? only because I keep having to come back to the site to look things up, it is time I had your recipes on my counter! c
Hee hee – oh what a thought – tripe and rhubarb in a pie – makes me like them even less C!
What an honour that you want to buy one of my books – yes I do still have paper copies. I will send you and email with all the details. Please send me back your address so I can post it to you. You will have to be a wee bit patient with the postal service though – it seems to be somewhat slow. Thanks again C, very special of you to buy a copy. 🙂 xo
I did it! http://chefmimiblog.com/2013/08/17/getting-to-know-you/
Fantastic Chef Mimi, thank you so much for partaking in the fun. I’m heading over right away to read your answers. Have a super week ahead. 🙂 xo
Wow we both love crabs, such a delicious sea creature
I couldn’t agree more Raymund. Have a super week ahead. 🙂
I’m enjoying your revival. What I’m surprised about is that parsley is one of the three herbs most people have picked. I grow it in my garden but it wouldn’t be in my top three favorites but is seems I’m in the minority. 🙂
Thanks Karen, glad you like the revival. Parsley from a visual point finish a meal off for me, even if it doesn’t add flavour. Have a beautiful week ahead. 🙂 xo
What fun Mandy! I remember the last one you did and I enjoyed that too. It is a fun way to get to know people. 🙂
It’s always nice to revisit a few fun posts. Have a super week Kristy. 🙂 xo
Loved this! Sorry it took me so long to get here. I’d find it hard to pick one favourite food but I think crab is somewhere up in the top 10! Just packing away my tripe and rhubarb pate recipe as I guess we won’t be needing it 🙂
What a fantastic idea! I’ve seen these Getting To Know You email messages at work between friends but I never thought of putting that on a blog! Great thinking on your part!! 🙂
HI Mike. Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Glad you like the idea – I have 2 more instalments. Have a super day. 🙂
I love reading the answers here! I never know what to take to a picnic and these are great ideas.
Hi Tammy, lovely of you to stop in. I’m sure if you had to ask me in a weeks time again, I may like to pack in something different for a picnic. Have a lovely day. 🙂 xo
This sounds like so much fun. I definitely agree with your picks for a picnic. It was fun getting to know you Mandy 🙂
Thanks Kay! I will save a spot on the blanket for you for our picnic. Have a beautiful day. 🙂 xo
