As always a big thank you to our friend Celia for bringing us all together each month with these fun IMK posts. 🙂
In my kitchen…
Were some sticky chicken wings – haven’t had them in a while and they were fabulous.
In my kitchen…
Is a quinoa salad, always such a wonderful taste explosion.
In my kitchen…
Was some scrumptious macaroni and cheese, unbaked, my lazy way of making it.
In my kitchen…
Is a bottle of Amarula, a gift from my brother Greg and his wife Karin. I can see getting rid of my winter weight will have to wait a while longer. 🙂
In my kitchen…
Is a beautiful gift from Greg and Karin’s children, Tom and Anne. A decorative whisk.
What’s in your kitchen this month?
Please remember to link back to Celia’s blog Fig Jam and Lime Cordial if you partake in the fun and drop her a quick note to let her know when your post will be up and please note Celia needs all IMK posts submitted by the 10th of every month.

Oh my goodness Mandy – those sticky wings look SO good! I haven’t had them in ages either. Mmm! Your mac and cheese looks delish too. So many good things in your kitchen. And what a beautiful decorative whisk!
I bet the kids could handle making both the wings and mac n cheese all on their own Kristy, well maybe with a little help because of the boiling water and hot oven. Have a wonderful week. Thinking of you with your busy time ahead. 🙂 xoxo
Hi Mandy! oh my, that bottle of Amarula! I have just finished some macaroni cheese – my go to dinner when teens have other teens over. Delicious looking wings btw. Happy October x
Hi Ania, seems the teens now days eat so much more than we used to – or maybe I am just getting old. 😀 Have a happy day. 🙂 xo
Mandy… sticky chicken wings, a quinoa “taste explosion”, mac ‘n’ cheese “the lazy way”, a tassel-topped libation, AND a one-of-a-kind whisk? You’ve outdone yourself, girl. (Thanks!)
Thank you for your beautiful comment Kim. Have a wonderful day. 🙂 xo
Hello lovely… please would you deliver two rounds of the wings and the quinoa salad tonight. xxx
On its way Lizzy… 😀 Have a beautiful day. 🙂 xo
That whisk is perfect. So pretty. While your doing the rounds, can I put an order in for wings and salad too 😀
Wouldn’t it be lovely if we could really share our meals. What fun! Have a beautiful day Jennifer. 🙂 xo
Okay,
I must have those sticky, delectable wings w/ red wine.
Better yet, lets have them together! xxxx
Oh yes, absolutely! When can we get together… Have a beautiful day dearest Kim. 🙂 xo
What time is dinner, I will be right over. those sticky wings look amazing. I quite like that fun whisk…
Standing ready with a glass of wine Bam. Have a happy day. 🙂 xo
Like the whisk, is it easy for old fingers (mine not Yours) to hold?
The whisk is now hanging up to be admired by all. Have a beautiful day! 🙂 xo
So many good eats in your kitchen, love quinoa salad. When I clicked on the salad link I got the chicken wings recipe.
So sorry about the link Norma. I have updated the post. 🙂 Quinoa Salad. Have a wonderful day. 🙂 xo
Those sticky wings look fabulous as does the mac & cheese – I make mine that way a lot of times too rather than bake it. Is that bacon or ham bits that you’ve added in there?
I’ve never heard of Amarula but looking closely at the label it does look like something I’d definitely give a try.
Adorable whisk – definitely should be on display!
Something comforting about an unbaked mac n cheese. It is streaky bacon bits – wonderful addition! I would love to share an Amarula with Diane. Maybe one day. I have hung the whisk up in the kitchen – so cute. Have a wonderful and happy day. 🙂 xo
What a lovely little whisk – I’ve never seen anything like it before 🙂
I love my little whisk, such a loving gift. Have a super day. 🙂 xo
Did you save me a wing..or even just a little sauce to lick off the plate?!
Tell you what, I will make a fresh batch so you don’t have to share. 😀 Have a wonderful day Tanya. 🙂 xo
Love those mouthwatering chicken-wings and Amarula! Yum! 😀
One could be your mains and the other pudding. 😀 Have a super day. 🙂 xo
that whisk is a lovely thing to have on display, what a gorgeous gift!
It really is a special gift. Have a wonderful day. 🙂 xo
Thanks for another view behind the magic curtain, Mandy. Those wings and that mac & cheese have made me hungry. I need to fix something for lunch. And that whisk! How special is that?
Love your header photo, by the way.
You are too kind John, thank you! BTW, you are the only person to have noticed my new header. 😀 Have a beautiful weekend. 🙂 xo
Oh! what amazingly taste-tempting gorgeous sticky wings – loud tummy rumbles just thinking of a plateful.
Thanks for your lovely comment Dee. Have a beautiful weekend. 🙂 xo
Sticky Chicken Wings…. Gahhhh…. Drool! 🙂 And your Mac & Cheese looks marvelous. So sad I dont get to come and hang in your kitchen this month as planned. Siiiiiigh!
Me too hon. Not to worry, there will be a better time for when you come and visit. Love and hugs. 🙂 xoxoxo
Love that whisk! It could almost be a decoration 😊 and those wings and salad look delicious…and it’s almost lunch here!
I adore my little whisk. Not quite long enough past breakfast here for me to be thinking of lunch, although I always think of lunch and dinner. Have a beautiful week Laila. 🙂 xo
Those sticky chicken wings…. Oh my! (and here’s to lazy macaroni cheese) The decorative whisk is gorgeous isn’t it? What a thoughtful and quirky gift.
Very special of my niece and nephew – feel so loved. Have a super day Fiona. 🙂 xo
Fabulous as always! I am going to Pin your chicken wings recipe for testing here. 😀 Of course, you already know I’m a macaroni & cheese addict, so that one’s an obvious lure!
And I’ve long considered that I should try Amarula and see just what it’s like. It’s a creamy liqueur, no?
I never considered that a whisk could be so delightfully designed, but they’re perfectly logical for fun curlicues and fantastical frills, now that I think about it! What a charming gift!
Much, much love, and may you have a glorious Spring week!
Kathryn
❤
Kath, it is always so lovely to read your comments.
Creamy liqueur Amarula is. I guess it is similar but different than Baileys.
I can’t believe how everyone loves my whisk as much as I do. Such a special gift.
Have a beautiful day dear Kath. 🙂 xoxoxo
Wow! The whisk is wonderful! What a lovely design. That mac and cheese looks super tasty!
Thanks Maggie. Think Mac n Cheese will be on the menu soon again. Have a super week. 🙂 xo
