This is another very versatile marinade and is super delicious on lamb loin chops. Enjoy this with my Rustic Potato Cakes and for good measure have a 7 Layer Salad on the side.
7 Herb Mutton Marinade
Ingredients
1 tbsp marjoram
1 tbsp sage
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp mint
½ cup dry red wine
2 medium onions grated
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ cup cooking oil
¾ cup tomato sauce
4 tsp vinegar
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together and set aside for a few hours before using to baste your mutton chops.
